Dubai: Emirates airline will be the Official Airline of the first Dubai Ladies Masters 2006, the first full Ladies European Tour (LET) event ever to be played in the Middle East.

Promoted and organised by 'Golf in Dubai', the tournament will feature an elite group of 120 golfers besides some of the world's top players, including Annika Sorenstam, Anna Rawson, Sophie Sandolo, Gwladys Nocera, and Catrin Nilsmark.

The tournament will take place at the Emirates Golf Club from Thursday to Sunday. It offers prize money of Euro 500,000, making it one of the top five richest events on the Ladies European Tour.

Pro-Am tournament

During the tournament, Emirates will also be hosting business associates and customers, and it will also organise an exclusive Pro-Am tournament on Wednesday, October 25.

Emirates is a committed supporter of golf around the world and in addition to the Dubai Ladies Masters, it is the Official Airline for six other PGA European Tour sanctioned tournaments.
