The sixth edition of the DXB Snow Run brought together 700 athletes from 70 countries, all racing across the snowy slopes of Ski Dubai. With participants aged 13 to 65 tackling 3km and 5km challenges, the event proved once again that snow sports in the desert are more than just a novelty — they’re a serious test of endurance, grit and global camaraderie.

Among the record entries were 150 Emirati nationals, showcasing strong local interest in this unique event staged at the World’s Best Indoor Ski Resort.

Germany’s Pia Hansske stormed to victory in the Women’s 5km division, completing five laps of the snow-covered track in just 23 minutes and 18 seconds. Her commanding performance was one of the standout highlights of the day. Egypt’s Moustafa Attia clocked a blistering time of 20 minutes and 17 seconds to win the Men’s 5km event, pulling away from the pack with a strong final lap and precise control on the tricky terrain.

In the 3km category, Noura Al Khalaf was the top performer in the Women’s division, finishing in a remarkable 20 minutes and 1 second. Meanwhile, Abdelali Bouazzaoui of Morocco cruised to victory in the Men’s race with an impressive 13 minutes and 44 seconds. The team event added another layer of excitement, with SFM JRC clinching first place. Their average team time of 20 minutes and 55 seconds showcased both speed and coordination.
