As football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo decided to extend his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, the magnitude of his eye-watering deal made jaws drop. The Portuguese footballer will reportedly pocket up to $645,000 (Dh2.4 million) a day.

After the announcement was made, Ronaldo wrote on Instagram: "A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together.”
