Dubai: Local football fans had a glimpse of the two trophies won by Manchester City Football Club (MCFC) last season — the English Premier League and the League Cup — on Wednesday.
Brought by QNET, an Asian direct selling company together with City, the trophies were on display at the company’s Dubai headquarters and at the Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi, where the trophies were shared with the local football fans in both emirates.
QNET welcomed guests to the VIP area of the Zayed Sports Center in Abu Dhabi during the Trophy Tour in the presence of other MCFC partners such as Etihad, Etisalat, Visit Abu Dhabi among others. Fanzines were organised where the trophies were displayed for photo opportunities with fans watching the last Manchester derby between City and Manchester United.
City have won the EPL crown twice since the Abu Dhabi takeover in 2008.
