Legend happy to make foray as health drink’s brand ambassador
Dubai: Diego Maradona is happy to lend himself as a core business partner of energy drink ‘Style C’ launched at The Atlantis Palm late on Monday.
Active Exim General Trading Company, one of the leading manufacturers of juices, energy drinks and Vitamin C has launched the first of its healthy drinks labelled ‘Style C’ with Maradona as its brand ambassador.
The new drink comes in a well-shaped bottle with a smiling Maradona’s picture on it. The Argentinian is also the sports ambassador for Dubai. “This is what I call respect and acknowledgement for what I have done in football,” Maradona continued.
“I met the Managing Director of Active Exim [Fadi Mohammad Awadhallah] through a common friend and he suggested this idea to me, and I loved it. I will do anything to ensure this product has its success the market,” Maradona said.
