Dubai: Al Nasr club have said that they are ready to go to Fifa if their former player Farhad Majidi complains to the governing body against the club.

This was announced by Jasim Al Sayed the Al Nasr legal consultant to Gulf News yesterday.

Iranian striker Farhad Majidi claimed that he will complain to Fifa due to Al Nasr revoking his two year contract.

Farhad signed last season a two year contract with Al Nasr worth $2 million. The contract expired in June 2008.

He played last season with the club in the league's first round, but he didn't perform well, scoring only two goals in 11 matches.

In the second round he was transferred to Al Ahli and at the end of the season he returned to Al Nasr.

Farhad asked Al Nasr to pay him one million dollars for the one year left in his contract and Al Nasr revoked the contract and said that they do not want him anymore.

"Al Nasr club decided to revoke Farhad's contract due to many violations committed by the player in last season.

"We have a full report about the player's infractions for the contract," said Al Sayed.

"The player complained to the UAE FA and we responded to them about the player's infractions.

"For example after his loan ended with Al Ahli he left for Iran without returning to Al Nasr.

"Also the two coaches of the club Holleman and Mancini reported that his standard was very poor and asked for his dismissal.

"We have a lot of Farhad's infractions and he will suffer a lot if he goes to Fifa."

Al Sayed said that it is better for him to sit with Al Nasr and reach an agreement to settle the issue.

"Al Nasr will not treat Farhad unfairly, he can reach a compromise with the club that he can get something and not all the amount he asked for," Al Sayed said.
