Ajman happy to retain Ze Mario as coach for one more stint

Abu Dhabi: Ajman club have announced that they have renewed the contract of their head coach, Ze Mario.

The Brazilian helped the club play in the new season after he led them from getting relegated in the last season.

The club's management checked out many options before settling for Ze Mario.

The Brazilian was with Ajman for the final matches in the league and helped them score the required points to stay in the UFL, despite the fact that they were promoted in the top competition only a season ago.

"We decided that Ze Mario is our best choice because of his knowledge of the competing teams and his knowledge of our players," Khalifa Al Jarrah, the official of the club, said on Thursday.

Ze Mario had helped Al Wasl win the double two seasons ago before moving to coach Al Araby club in Qatar.
