Abu Dhabi win first Etisalat Ramadan Football Cup
Championship included three groups of ten teams representing the three main regions of etisalat — Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the northern emirates
Dubai: Team etisalat Abu Dhabi were crowned victors over 30 other teams in the final of the first etisalat Employee Ramadan Football tournament on Sunday.
A number of etisalat executives and employees were present at the Abu Dhabi Country Club to see the post-match awarding of top scorer, best player and best goalkeeper prizes.
The championship included three groups of ten teams representing the three main regions of etisalat — Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the northern emirates.
Jaber Al Janahi, acting vice-president of Corporate Communications said: "We are committed to [launching] many initiatives that enhance the cooperation among etisalat employees. These activities include... events that create goodwill among staff..."
