Dhow sailing returns Saturday

Dubai: The second round of the three-leg traditional 43 foot dhow sailing championship organised by Dubai International Marine Club will be held on Saturday from 1pm. Registration is now open at the DIMC office and through the race committee at Abu Dhabi Sailing and Yacht Club until 5pm on Thursday.

Rejam saw off Muzahim and Asifath Al Hazam to win last month’s opening round where 90 boats took part. Organisers are expecting more competitors this weekend and for the third and final leg, the details of which are yet to be announced.
