Dubai. The bachelor days of India’s 2011 World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh have come to an end. The 33-year-old all-rounder has got engaged to his girlfriend Hazel Keech in a surprise ceremony in Bali on Wednesday.
In the past, Yuvraj has been linked to many Bollywood actresses. It was reported that he had a four year relationship with girlfriend Kim Sharma and also rumoured to have affairs with Priety Zinta and Deepika Padukone.
Hazel is a former Bigg Boss contestant and had portrayed the role of Kareena Kapoor’s best friend and Salman Khan’s wife in popular Bollywood movie ‘Bodyguard’
A few days ago Yuvraj had hinted about his marriage through twitter. He also attended close friend Harbhajan Singh’s marriage with another Bollywood actress Geeta Basra along with Hazel. Harbhajan too had ended his bachelor days at the age of 35.
Yuvraj hasn’t been considered for selection to Team India since his sedate knock in the 2014 Twenty20 final of the World Cup against Sri Lanka in Dhaka. It is understood that Yuvraj and Hazel were dating each other for two years but had managed to keep it a secret. Hazel was born in Essex, England to a British father and a Mauritian mother.
Yuvraj was diagnosed with cancer soon after the 2011 World Cup but he battled it and recovered from it. He staged a stunning comeback to the Indian team too. Former Indian Test star Yograj Singh, the father of Yuvraj has remarked that the fortunes of his son might change with the marriage and he might come back into the Indian team again.
