Raghu, key member of Indian support staff, stopped by cop on team's arrival in Nagpur
As the Indian cricket team reached Nagpur for the first One-Day International against England, the local police mistook a support staff to a fan and stopped him from joining the group.
Raghu, India's throwdown specialist, was stopped by a cop after he got off the team bus and was headed towards the hotel.
In the video shared by a fan, Raghu can be seen trying to convince a cop that he is a member of the team before another cop interfered to sort out the issue.
Raghu has been a key figure in the Indian cricket setup and is known for his throwdowns, which can reach up to 150km/h.
The humble boy from Karnataka has earned praises from top cricketers including Sachin Tendulkar, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
India, who are on a high after finishing the T20I series against England 4-1, will begin the three-match ODI series in Nagpur and then moves to Cuttack before finishing in Ahmedabad.
The three-match series will form as the preparations for India and England before the eight-team Champions Trophy, to be held in Dubai and three Pakistan cities - Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi.
While India will play their Group A matches in Dubai as the event is held on a hybrid model, England, who are in Group B along with Afghanistan, Australia and South Africa, will play their matches in Pakistan.
