Kohli and Rahul's fiery exchange captivates IPL fans
In an intense IPL 2025 match on Sunday, Indian cricket stars Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were involved in a heated exchange during the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) against Delhi Capitals (DC) game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Kohli was batting for RCB, and Rahul was wicketkeeping for DC. The incident unfolded in the 8th over of RCB's chase, with Kohli approaching Rahul and engaging in a conversation.
While the exact details of the exchange remain unclear, a viral video showed both players visibly agitated before the game resumed.
In their previous encounter at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Rahul’s brilliant 93 off 53 balls was key to DC’s victory over RCB. His bold 'This is My Home Ground' celebration also went viral.
Rahul’s aggressive knock was crucial in helping DC chase down the target and secure the win.
After the match, Rahul famously drove his bat into the ground like a sword, declaring, “This is my ground.”

The incident took place while RCB was chasing a target of 163. Earlier, Rahul had been the top scorer for DC, posting a gritty 41 runs off 39 balls.
