Dubai: Despite the loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru, a young cricketer from Punjab Kings was on cloud nine.
Musheer Khan, the younger brother of Indian cricketer Sarfaraz Khan, turned emotional when he received a bat as a gift from Indian super star Virat Kohli.
Overwhelmed by the gesture, Musheer said he couldn't stop crying and posted an emotional post.
“A million thanks for the bat and Viratbhaiiya & a billion for the love!"
The 20-year-old was roped in during the mega auction for Rs3 million.
Kohli's unbeaten 73 off 52 balls guided RCB to successfully chase down the target of 159 runs posted by Punjab Kings. His partnership with Devdutt Padikkal, who scored 61 runs, proved crucial in securing the win.
