** Kyle Coetzer’s 156 is the now the highest by a batsman from the associate side. The previous highest was by Netherland’s Klaas-Jan van Noortwijk who made 134* v Namibia at Bloemfontein in 2003 WC

** His 156 is also by far the highest by a Scotish batsman in WC. It obliterates Gavin Hamilton’s 76 against Pakistan at Chester-le-Street in 1999 WC

** Tamim Iqbal’s 95 is now the highest by a Bangladeshi batsman in WC. He went past the previous highest score of 87 by Mohd Ashraful against South Africa at Providence in 2007 WC

** The 139 run stand by Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah is their highest for any wicket in all WCs.

** Tamim Iqbal meanwhile, became the 2nd Bangladeshi batsman to aggregate 4000 ODI runs, He now has 4085 runs just behind the 4138 runs by Shakib Al Hasan

** This is the first time Bangladesh has successfully chased a target of 300+ in the WC. Before this they had not even chased and won a target of 250+ in WCs

** Kyle Coetzer’s 156 is now the highest by a batsman in a losing effort in a World Cup match. The previous highest was the 143 by South African Herschelle Gibbs against New Zealand at Johannesburg in 2003

** Scotland are yet to win a World Cup match. They have now lost all their 12 games spanning three WCs (1999, 2007, 2015). This is by far the worst performance by any WC side.
