I have trained with him: Anaya Bangar talks about tips she got from Virat Kohli

Dubai: Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Bangar's daughter Anaya Bangar who was in the news last year for her hormonal transformation, said she had the opportunity to train with Indian star cricketer Virat Kohli on multiple occasions that helped her improve her game.

“I’ve met him multiple times and trained with him—alongside my dad as well. He’s given me a few tips, watched me bat, and I’ve had the chance to see him bat up close,” Anaya told Filmygyan.

“I once asked him how he handles pressure at the highest level. He told me that he practices to a point where he fully understands his strengths and trusts them. He knows exactly what he can do on the field, and he simply believes in that. Once you truly know yourself and your game, everything else falls into place,” Anaya added.

On May 14, Anaya shared a post on social media that showed her playing cricket. She was seen confidently playing on the front foot, showcasing solid defensive shots and elegant straight drives. Captioning the clip, she wrote, “Just letting you guys know that I have something huge coming up!”
