Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly expressed his disappointment at the wicket and at his team's performance.

"I am not happy with the performance but it was good to have a victory under our belt. Our batting needs to be sorted out. We need to put much more runs on the board. It is the first game of the series and we're are getting into our groove; so it is good to have a win," he said.

"I wanted the batsmen to spend more time at the crease. They bowled well and did not allow the batsmen to hit. We need to keep our heads down and put a big score."

Ganguly also expressed his concern over the wickets in South Africa. "Today's wicket was a bit damp and slow. We are surprised at the wickets we've been given for our first three matches here. The last time when we played here in October, this wicket had a bit of pace and bounce. Now we find the wicket a bit slow and the ball refuses to come on to the bat," he stressed.

Holland skipper Roland Lefebvre expressed his happiness. "Overall we are very pleased with our performance."
