A day after announcing his retirement from Test cricket, Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli was seen in Vrindavan on Tuesday, accompanied by his wife, actor Anushka Sharma.

The couple’s spiritual visit quickly went viral, with videos circulating online showing them arriving in a white SUV at the ashram of Swami Premanand Maharaj.

During their visit, Kohli and Anushka met spiritual leader Sant Premanand Govind Sharan and received his blessings.

Known for their faith and spiritual inclinations, the couple has visited several religious sites over the years, particularly during significant life moments. Their previous visit to the same ashram had also drawn public attention.

On Monday, Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket via Instagram, concluding a legendary 14-year career with 9,230 runs in 123 matches, including 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries. The decision reportedly came after he informed the BCCI ahead of India’s upcoming five-Test series against England.

Having already retired from T20 internationals after India’s T20 World Cup win, the 36-year-old will now continue his career solely in the One Day International (ODI) format.
