Manny Pacquiao’s troublesome shoulder is fully recovered if his Instagram feed is anything to go by.

The boxer posted an image of him waving his country’s flag to mark Philippines Independence Day on Friday.

Controversy reigned following the Filipino superstar’s defeat to Floyd Mayweather on May 2 (May 3 UAE), when he declared a shoulder injury which required surgery after the fight.

As a result, several lawsuits have been filed in the US, claiming Pacquiao should have been honest about his injury before the long-awaited showdown.

Following the surgery, Pacquiao was pictured wearing a heavy brace.

But recently the brace has disappeared, marking his recovery.

On Wednesday, Mayweather topped the Forbes list as the highest-earning sportsman, at $300 million (Dh1.1 biillion) in the last 12 months.

Pacquiao was second on the list with $160 million in earnings.
