With less than two months to go the UAE Athletics Federation has announced that the third annual Dubai Women’s Run on November 9 will back the Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs.

The run will be held at The Palm Jumeirah under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman, Dubai Sports Council (DSC).

And to mark its commitment to social causes, President of the UAE Athletics Federation Ahmad Al Kamali presented Al Noor with a cheque for Dh20,000. “Giving support to the Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs is our way of showing we care for our community as a whole. We are not only committed to creating opportunities for women to be healthy and active in an inspiring, fun and friendly environment, but we are committed to our children too,” Al Kamali said.

“We are very thankful to the UAE Athletics Federation for their kind support as it will go a long way in sustaining its activities for the special needs community,” said Isphana Al Khatib, Director, Al Noor Training Centre.
