Al Ahli runners emerge on top in Olympic Run

Dubai: Al Ahli Club runners hogged the limelight in the McDonalds Olympic Run, organised by the UAE National Olympic Committee and UAE Athletic Federation.

In the boys' race, Abdullah Saleh of Al Nasr finished first in 9m 25sec. Al Ahli's Abdul Hameed (9m 28sec) was second and Khalfan Khannem of Hamriya was third place in 9m:48sec.

In the men's race, Al Ahli's Tanzanian runners Elsant Forro (18.36sec) and Pascal Mombo (18.37) were first and second, respectively. Moroccan Chaibi Othmane of Al Ain Club finished third.

Women's race: 1. Debi Powell (24m 36sec), 2. Signpa Plownan 25m 54sec, 3. Barbara Gin (27m 41sec).
