Abused gymnast Raisman reveals training spiral

Boston: Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman says she’s barely been able to work out since going public with allegations of sexual abuse at the hands of a former sports doctor. The six-time Olympic medallist told The Improper Bostonian magazine that she’s still regrouping after confronting former USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar.

The magazine quotes the 24-year-old native of Needham, Massachusetts, as saying she’s hardly worked out in the past few months. She says she’s constantly reliving her abuse. Raisman and hundreds of other women and girls say they were sexually assaulted by Nassar.
