At 16 years and one day, Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko became the youngest player in Bundesliga history Saturday when he made his German league debut in the 5-2 romp at Hertha Berlin. Moukoko’s late cameo off the bench at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium broke the previous record set by Nuri Sahin, who was 16 years, 335 days when he made his league debut for Dortmund in 2005. La Liga: Luka Romero - 15 years and 255 days - June 2020 - Mallorca. The Argentine pup came on for Mallorca during a 2-0 loss to Real Madrid. He took the landmark from the legendary Francisco Bao Rodriguez (Sanson) who was 15 years and 255 days old on debut with Celta Vigo in 1939.

Premier League: Harvey Elliott - 16 years and 30 days - 2019 - Fulham. Only last year Elliott came on for Fulham against Wolves to grab the new marker in England. He was quickly signed for Liverpool and is out on loan at Blackburn Rovers. He is still only 17.

Ligue 1: Laurent Paganelli, 15 years, 10 months and 3 days - 1978 - St-Etienne. Another record that has lasted despite such youngsters as Kylian Mbappe flirting with the new mark. Paganelli went on to play for St-Etienne for five years and Toulon for five more. he is currently a sports presenter and reporter for Canal +.

Scottish Premiership: Scott Robinson 16 years and 1 month - 2007 - Hearts. The Scottish journeyman (he's only 28) has played for Hearts, Kilmarnock, Dunfermline, East Fife and is currently back in the top flight with Livingston.
