Look! Football transfer latest - Paris St-Germain want £188 million from Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappe

The France forward will cost a pretty penny if he is to move to the Spanish giants

Real Madrid will have to pay Paris St-Germain £188 million if they are to sign their 22-year-old France forward Kylian Mbappe. The Spanish giants have made a £137 million bid but PSG say that is not enough for the World Cup winner who has scored 133 goals in 174 games for them and won three Ligue 1 titles and three French Cups. He cost the Ligue 1 side £165.7 million when he arrived back in 2017 from Monaco but his contract expires next year. PSG are keen to recoup most of their outlay on the player who says he wants to leave but Real’s offer falls short of what they deem acceptable. Image Credit: AFP

Manchester City may have missed out on signing Harry Kane from Tottenham but they are believed to be keen on signing Juventus and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo instead. The arrival of the 36-year-old would certainly soften the blow of missing out on the England striker. Ronaldo is keen to leave the Turin side and would cost just £25 million but his wages would be astronomical, however, City are ready to pay him what he wants. Image Credit: Reuters

Meanwhile, Kane is upset with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy as he wouldn't sanction his sale to City. The striker had made clear earlier this summer that he wanted to leave the North London club but now he will be staying for at least one more year. But with age against him, perhaps his chance for a big move has now gone... Image Credit: AFP

Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland celebrates scoring their second goal against Leipzig
Chelsea were after Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland this summer but were priced out of a move for the Norway star after his agent Mino Raiola demanded massive fees for himself as well as Premier League record wages for the 21-year-old in the £275m package. The Blues ended up signing Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan instead for £97.5 million and he got off to a dream debut by scoring the first against Arsenal in a 2-0 win last week. Image Credit: Reuters
