Camels on the course: UAE Tour Stage 3 in pictures

Tuesday saw the third stage of the UAE Tour get flagged off from Al Qudra as the riders prepared to tackle the Jebel Hafeet climb.

After departing from Al Qudra the route crossed the desert on long straights until reaching Al Ain

The main peloton took the Al Faq’a Road on their way to Jebel Hafeet

Understandably, riders were conserving energy in the midday sun given the big climb ahead

There was still time to spot some of the local wildlife

There was an early break away by four riders but they were soon back in the pack

And it was Adam Yates of Michelton-Scott who got to the top of Jebel Hafeet first to take Stage 3 honours and the GC leader's red Jersey. Yates won ahead of Tadej Pogacar and Alexey Lutsenko
