Australia's openers Beth Mooney (pictured) and Alyssa Healy gave them a flying start after the reigning champions elected to bat after winning the toss at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Australia set India a challenging target of 185 to win their first world title, but the Women in Blue were never in the chase and were all out for 99. Mooney, who scored an unbeaten 78 in the final, was adjuged Player of the Tournament.
