Sheffield United are the latest club to take to the sunny shores of Dubai during the English Premier League winter break

Chris Wilder's men were delighted to get out in the sunshine, having battled to a 2-1 win over Bournemouth in their last match as Storm Ciara battered the UK.

That victory took Sheffield United to within two points of a top-four spot in the Premier League and they are tantalisingly close to Champions League football next season

It is a remarkable journey for the side who were promoted from the Championship at the start of the season, and were tipped by many for relegation

The only down side to the Dubai trip for the Blades may be the concern it will halt their momentum in the league.

Sheffield are currently fifth in the Premier League standings, two points behind Chelsea, who have played a game less. Tottenham are two points behind the Blades and also have a game in hand

But Sheffield are certainly riding high on confidence and will go into their next match against Brighton on February 22 looking to pick up all three points
