Last season was the first time that they did not make it to the knockout stages as they finished seventh in a terrible campaign and many had written them off this season what with an ageing team lead by MS Dhoni, but what a comeback it has been for them. This was Dhoni's 300th game as a captain in T20 cricket and he couldn't have marked it any better.
