Cricket World Cup 2023: Highlights from the match as India thrash Bangladesh by 7 wickets

KOHI HAS A BALL: India’s Virat Kohli bowls against Bangladesh after Hardik Pandya was injured and couldn’t complete the over. Bowling gentle medium pace, Kohli conceded just two runs in the three balls he bowled. It was the first time Kohli had bowled at this level since 2017.

FIFTY FOR TANZID HASAN: Tanzid Hasan Tamim in action against India. After five quiet overs, Bangladesh openers Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das took the attack to the Indian bowlers, scoring over 50 runs coming in the last five overs of the Powerplay. Tamim raced to his fifty in 41 balls.

YORKED: Bangladesh’s Mahmudullah is bowled out by India’s Jasprit Bumrah. Mahmudullah struck 46 (36 balls) and steered Bangladesh out of a mid-inning slump with a couple of partnership. Bangladesh finished with 256/8

ROHIT IN A HURRY: India’s Rohit Sharma in action against Bangladesh. The captain and Shubman Gill added 63/0 in the Powerplay One of 10 overs, chasing Bangladesh’s 256. He was dismissed for 48 by Hasan Mahmud after having strung together 88 for the first wicket.
