Pictures: Popular DSF Markets are back

With each passing year, the festival only gets bigger and better, whether it’s the shopping or entertainment options available. The popular DSF Markets have returned for the 27th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival with outdoor community shopping experiences for all. The free-to-attend markets can be found in various locations across the city, including Al Seef, Burj Park Downtown, Rigga and Global Village.

One of the many highlights is the DSF flagship alternative shopping destination, Etisalat Market OTB, which returns to Burj Park with an Asian Pop Culture theme.

They feature food kiosks and concepts from some of the region’s best and upcoming brands, shopping and live entertainment for the whole family, including a roller skate rink, padel court and the region’s debut ‘Hello Kitty’ show.

DSF market at Al Seef transforms into a walkable outdoor playhouse and musuem with educational interactive art installations part of the scenary.

Visitors from all ages can engage, learn and explore four zones named after the elements Water, Air, Earth and Fire and play all the while understanding more about the rich culture and histroy of the Emirates.

DSF opened with a celebration at Burj Park featuring live performances from superstar Balqees Fathi and award-winning artist Mohammed Hamaki; drone light shows and fireworks; 24-hour hotel and attractions sale; opening of DSF markets and the start of the mega raffle.

This week saw hundreds of shopaholics head to an exclusive Dubai Shopping Festival pop-up by the global fashion powerhouse, Shein at Ain Dubai, Bluewaters.

Running until 23 December, the pop-up shopping extravaganza features Shein’s latest trends and styles and a host of glamorous experiences including glam yourself up with the Shein beauty collection AR experience and ‘Express your Wonderful’ by finding the picture-perfect backdrop for an Instagrammable photo opportunity.
