Los Angeles is entering its fourth day of unrest as California Governor Gavin Newsom vows to sue in an effort to block the Trump administration’s deployment of National Guard troops to the city escalating a standoff triggered by immigration raids that sparked protests over the weekend.

Those protests have since erupted into violence, with looting, fires, and clashes breaking out across parts of the city.
