Coronavirus: How to get tested at the new mobile drive thru COVID-19 test centre in UAE

The UAE on Saturday opened a mobile COVID-19 Test Center to support the country’s relentless efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus. The mobile test facility will be dedicated for testing individuals for coronavirus.

To get checked at the facility you will need to book an appointment through Estijaba 8001717. You will be asked to participate in a pre-assessment screening, where they would need to answer questions related to your health condition.

Following the pre-screening, people who are suspected of having contracted the virus and those who are most vulnerable, such as the elderly, pregnant women or people with chronic diseases will be prioritised. The test will be free for these individuals.

On the day of your appointment show up on time with your emirates ID. For the wider community who prefer to do the examination for reassurance only, the testing procedure will cost Dh370.

The test will take about 5 minutes and the mobile centre is located at Zayed sports city in Abu Dhabi. The centre opens from 8 am to 8 pm daily and will be serving up to 600 people.
