Despite the overwhelming force displayed by Israel in Gaza, the fact remains that this Zionist entity is susceptible to destruction and elimination. Past experience has also proven that its strengths are in fact its points of weakness. So what will this Zionist entity be like if it were to be exposed to a crisis such as the one faced in Iraq and Syria?

Israelis set up on several strong elements such as its alliance with the US which has backed it through thick and thin and made its internal safety and security a part of its own national security and stability. This has cost the US billions of dollars annually, where the sums are taken from US tax payers, as well as donations and grants collected by foundations and individuals.

The second element of Tel Aviv’s strength lies in its unparalleled advanced military arsenal in comparison to those owned by its neighbours. All its military equipment is supplied according to the latest inventions in military science in advanced countries of the West, especially the US which considers this Zionist entity’s army as part of its own military. This is in addition to the fact that the US military funds are open to its army during times of crisis, which is what happened during all the wars fought by this army especially during the 1973 war when their air force faced shortages and the US rushed to compensate the shortfall within three days..

In this context we find that the Zionist entity’s army is highly advanced through continuous training and readiness for war. Here the army relies on reserve soldiers who served during their compulsory training and went on for further training through routine courses. This army was able to turn its loss to a draw in 1973 when a number of officers and soldiers were able to cut through a road inside the Egyptian territories.

This move enabled the Zionist political negotiator to force a status quo on the Egyptian army and thus compel the Egyptian political leadership to negotiate to lift the siege. The Zionist entity also spends huge sums of money on scientific research which exceeds that of all Arab countries in this field. This is witnessed in the inventions registered in their names and the quality of these inventions, thus leading to highly lucrative industries.

The Zionist entity also boasts the financial integrity of its officials — its judicial authorities are firm towards those seizing public money unjustly, and the media has shown the extent of this transparency and governance in cases where officials were interrogated, tried and punished. The reason for this is the democratic structure which they excel in over by their Arab neighbours.

In addition to these previously mentioned points of strength, the Zionist entity has four support elements, the first being an intelligence force which carries out assassinations and other illegitimate operations through special forces. However, these are done with great secrecy. The Zionist entity has great influence over international media outlets as well as international financial and economic centres, which enables them to control economic establishments across the globe.

Arab, Islamic fragmentation

But the biggest support ever given to Tel Aviv is the state of fragmentation and weakness of Arab and Islamic nations.

It is thus clear that the strength of the Zionist entity is based on the strength of America’s economy and military. The deterioration of the US economic situation is also evident where surveys and analysis show that US citizens are wary of US aid extended to this entity. More pronounced are the American-Zionist differences, pointing to the possibility of the discontinuation of US aid because of increasing internal and external pressures on successive US administrations. It is also evident from recent infiltrations that putting together a reserve army is not as easy as it was in the past, as the call has been rejected by many officers and soldiers, in addition to the fact that most of those holding the nationality of the Zionist entity have other passports or live abroad. As a result, only 4,000 of the 40,000 people called by the army for the Gaza 2014 war answered the call, which hindered the land operation that was supposed to be implemented. Hence, the aerial assaults continued to no avail.

Democracy in the Zionist entity is not for all; rather it is for limited categories of the people. There are 23 ethnic groups there and the Arabs make up 20 per cent of the population. Not all the people enjoy the same rights, a matter which threatens identity in general and affects the elements of loyalty which they so highly regard in establishing the so-called Jewish state.

In contrast, the Arab neighbourhood has great vitality, by which, in spite of all the tragedies and horrors, it processes young and active movements, and combines its people and individuals through common denominators of the values of religion and Arabism. It also has great wealth reserves of people and finances and if those are put into the right political context, they will not leave any place for the Zionist entity’s scientific, intelligence, economic, financial or military superiority.
