The success of UAE lies in the hands of the new generation
The success of UAE’s future could be shaped if we continuously invest in youth capital. Young inspired, motivated, and determined Emiratis are considered to be the country’s climbers towards a brighter future. In fact, youngsters are the backbone of every nation and to secure success, further youth development must be created. Therefore, the UAE has to focus its resources into investing in the Emirati youth.
Preparing the youth for a challenging future should start from home, through parental support. The aim is to spread an understanding of worldwide trends and future transformations. Building a future generation through education should be the priority on the agenda of a parent, organisation, or a nation as a whole. Creating a dynamic curriculum to engage student interaction encourages students to be prepared for creative technological advancements that are not even invented, for jobs that don’t yet exist, in order to translate strategies into results that will be needed in the future. As a matter of fact, continuous efforts are required to create curriculums that aim to be parallel with the current needs of the world.
As a result of emerging economies and the multicultural society in the Emirates — securing talent should be a priority. Hence, we should equip those talents with the resources they require to present the best they could. I focus on youth because they are considered to be an essential primary part of a society and a society is incomplete without the youngsters. Whether it is about a technological, economical, political or even the social element, the youth can be a driving force of change. The future can only be shaped if we create an appropriate environment for the current generation.
Positive youth development could be reached through encouraging them to look for work opportunities such as internships. In turn, it will provide a solid ground for the young to understand the work environment, gain a career path and experiences, recognise the demands of the current economic phase, and acknowledge the needs of the community.
Moreover, the new generation are the gateway to success; hence, they have a duty to reach a successful global nation through the use of their skills, strengths, creativity and imagination to serve the country in the best possible manner. In addition, culture should be integrated throughout their learning and educational steps as it defines who we are.
