Religion is a way of life

“Human being minus desires equals God”

Last updated:

The whole world is going through a very traumatic and critical time. The current law and order situation around the world is pointing at another World War. The distribution of power based on caste, creed, colour, religion and region are taking over all humanitarian considerations. It appears as if we have lost our humbleness, kindness, tolerance, mutual perseverance for a peaceful coexistence.

An inconsiderate approach, selfish designs for control over wealth, the desire to achieve unlimited power, greed for controlling people and territories have resulted in large scale destruction and devastation. The truth is that no one is going to achieve anything with prevailing arrogance, hatred, anger and delusion except the loss of innocent lives. We are self-inflicting cruelty on our own people, destroying our very own environment and natural resources.

An essential part of religion and its practices is kindness and a consciousness, anything without it is mockery. With that in mind, why are these religious supporters ignoring the essence of religion?

It has gone too far and there is a serious need to realise the consequent sufferings due to our own ignorance. It is only when you learn to know yourself that you will be able to apply your wisdom into something good. The ultimate goal of every human being and his or her religion is to attain peace, co-existence, love and self-realisation.

With that in mind, let us caste away, eliminate and eradicate our desires. Let there be respect for all religions, caste and creed without any superiority. Religion is a way of life and not the goal and motive for life.
