Dubai Ruler visits injured motorist

Dubai: Social media users in the UAE applauded the kind gesture of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who recently visited an injured motorist in hospital.

The photo of the Dubai Ruler quickly circulated on social networking sites, as Shaikh Mohammad inquired about the health of the motorist, identified as Ali Redha Al Hashimi. 

Gulf News earlier reported the traffic accident last Sunday.

The incident happened in the area of Al Khawaneej during the first day of Eid, when a man accidentally drove his car into an excavation site. 

Dubai Civil defence and Dubai Police rescued the man and airlifted him to hospital, where he is currently recuperating.
