The trailer and songs of Telugu film Naa Nuvve definitely piques interest. N. Kalyana Ram’s new look, sophisticated and stylish, is a far cry from his action hero image of previous films.
Here, he plays a software professional. And with Tamannah opposite him playing a vivacious RJ, this love tale is eagerly awaited.
Filmmaker Jayendra Panchapakesan, who last directed the poignant love drama 180, returns with a complete Telugu film.
Panchapakesan feels that city centric stories can be done better in Telugu than in Tamil, where one has to bring in the nativity feel. For this Tamilian, learning Telugu was the first step.
“What makes this love story fresh, is the subtle and real performance delivered by Tamannah and Kalyan Ram,” said Panchapakesan.
The supporting cast includes Vennila Kishore, Tanikella Bharani and Surekha Vani. Sharreth’s music has already made waves online. With cinematographer PC Sreeram welding the camera, viewers are in for a visual treat.
Naa Nuvve releases in the UAE on May 24.
