Step 1: Isolate yourself immediately in a separate room If you cannot meet the conditions of home isolation, you can contact the DHA on 800 342 to transfer to an institutional facility.

Step 2: Install the COVID-19 app Install the COVID-19 DXB smart app.

Step 3: If you begin to develop any symptoms call 800 342 to book a virtual consultation through the ‘Doctor for every citizen’ service or an appointment at a COVID-19 assessment centre.
The DHA had announced earlier that the Al Khawaneej and Al Badaa health centres will be set aside exclusively for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. Image Credit: Shutterstock

Step 4: If you don’t have symptoms you still need to complete the 10-day isolation period.

Step 5: End of isolation. You can end your isolation after completing 10 days from the date of taking the PCR test given that you have no symptoms without taking fever-reducing medication for at least three consecutive days.
The DHA has also answered frequently asked questions on the COVID-19 vaccine, which you can read here: gulfnews.com/1.1609078116419 Image Credit: Pexels
