    COVID-19: Eating out? Follow these rules in Dubai

    Dubai authorities issued new guidelines for restaurants and cafes

    If you are headed out for a brunch or dinner in Dubai, you need to be aware of the new guidelines that have been issued in the emirate.

    On January 22, Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management announced new guidelines for those going out to eat in the emirate.

    According to the new guidelines, restaurants and cafes need to increase the distance between tables from two metres to three metres.

    The number of people allowed to sit at one table has also been reduced from 10 to seven at restaurants.

    In cafés, including shisha cafés, the maximum number of people at a table cannot be more than four.

    In a series of announcements, Dubai Media Office also issued updated guidelines for social events like weddings and private parties. New rules were also issued for gyms to follow.
