"It takes me 20 minutes just to walk through the whole house — cardio sorted!" Palm Jumeriah mansion resident and Dubai-based entrepreneur Nicole Rodrigues jokes as she guides us through her palatial 25,000 sq. ft. waterfront mansion with views of the Hotel Atlantis.

“This home is me, and I am the home.” Nicole Rodrigues believes her mansion is a mirror to her soul — meticulously organised, full of character, and unapologetically vibrant. “I like things in their place, just like I like my head,” she says with a smile. Every zone, from the playful pink lounge to the no-nonsense 'Bentley zone', and the more colourful living area with animal print rugs reflects a different side of her personality, making this not just a home, but a living expression of who she is.

“That’s our Barbie-esque corner — the fourth living room!” Nicole’s playful pink living room on the first floor is a nod to femininity and fun. “We’ve got a female section and a male section — it’s a little gender-coded but cute,” she laughs. Inspired by Arabic culture’s traditional separation of spaces, this vibrant zone is where glam meets comfort.

“Every bedroom has its own personality — a room for every mood.” In Nicole's mansion and you’ll find that no two bedrooms are the same. With ten in total, each space is curated to reflect various moods. “It depends on how you feel,” she says. For this bedroom, she was looking for on a Greece beach getaway vibes.

Welcome to Nicole’s master suite — more than just a bedroom. “Each room is designed to energise you differently,” she says. With bold palettes and mood-driven design, her bedrooms are not just for sleeping — they’re emotional sanctuaries.

“I may live here alone, but this house is never empty," said Nicole in an interview. Despite residing solo in her sprawling Palm Jumeirah mansion, Nicole is anything but lonely. “My son’s in Boston, my daughter’s in New York — they come and go. My parents fly in from Bombay, and my brother visits from Saudi,” she says. Add to that a steady stream of friends and guests, and her ten-bedroom home stays lively. “I host a lot — it’s why I need the space. There are always people around.”

Her happiest place? The home office. “This is where everything happens — meetings, deals, decisions,” Nicole says of her spacious study, complete with three desks and a conference table. “It’s my most-used room and my creative command center.”

“You can never have enough closets — trust me.” Nicole’s walk-in wardrobe is more like a fashion sanctuary. “Shoes alone take up six closets — then there are gowns, business suits, gym wear… and don’t even get me started on perfumes,” she laughs. Her dressing area isn’t just about storage — it’s her zen space, styled for serenity and self-expression.

One kitchen to show off, one to get things done — because the ultra-rich in Dubai need options. Nicole has a sleek, steel-clad show kitchen upstairs and a fully functional workhorse of a kitchen in the basement (left). “I love to cook — you can't keep an Indian woman out of a kitchen,” she laughs. “But let’s be honest, every fabulous home needs a fancy version too with a bowl of lemons". Basement goals: Nicole’s inner college dude lives here. Snooker table, billiards, and major hangout energy — “A girl’s got to have fun with her friends,” she says. Her basement is where playful luxury meets dorm-room dreams (just way fancier).

Plus, it's place where she truly unwinds. "It’s all snooker, billiards, and barefoot-in-athleisure vibes," she added. Tucked beneath the glam, here's Nicole’s cozy, low-key escape. Dress code? Strictly casual.

“Light is key — I need big windows, lace curtains are my signature, and I need lots of sun ... There's nothing called too much sun," says Nicole. True to her words, her Palm mansion is bathed in natural light, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows and her signature diva touch.

“You need a closet just for gym wear — and yes, I actually use it.” Fitness is part of Nicole’s routine, and with a mansion this size, her gym space is just one more luxe corner carved out for self-care.

“I actually do use the pool a lot — in fact, I was in the ocean just yesterday. A dip in the water totally resets me.” For Nicole, it’s not just for show. Her beachfront life is all about movement, energy, and soaking up every wave of it.

"Nothing’s wasted here — every inch is loved, lived-in, and working overtime. The foyer? Red leather chairs and a bowl of organic cardamoms, because who doesn’t want fresh breath with their designer décor?"

Movie nights, but make it luxe seems to be Nicole's credo when it came to designing her private home theater space. It is where comfort meets cinema. Think plush seats, surround sound, and zero queues — “Why go out when the movies can come to you?” she smiles.

From layout to lighting, Nicole designed her mansion with intention and heart. “I’m hands-on — I like things in their place, just like I like my head,” she says, proving this home isn’t just lived in, it’s deeply loved.
