Meet Ahmet Oytun Cakir, A Dubai based entrepreneur, restauranteur and someone known as “the one who makes a local restaurant brand a global brand."

He was raised as hotelier and grew up with his family in Bodrum surrounded by the hospitality, and travel industry since his childhood. After living across Europe in Turkey and Switzerland, he decided to make a change and move to Dubai to lead in the restaurant business as the Regional Director of Q Food & Beverage.

The company owns leading Restaurant brands like Huqqa and The Galliard. Both restaurants have been established for the first time outside of Turkey in Dubai and Oytun Cakir was a pioneer behind the successful expansion of local brands to the world. They are now one of the top three performing restaurants in their segments in Downtown Dubai.

Before Dubai, he studied International Economics at Bilgi University, then lived in Switzerland for a year and a half to study for his MBA in Service Management at Glion Institute of Higher Education which is one of the top three hospitality management university worldwide.

Since his childhood, he had a deep interest in photography, videography, music, and design. Oytun Cakir has reflected his creativity theoughout his career and became an innovator with his creative ideas in all businesses he’s been running. After completing his studies at Glion Switzerland he has returned to Bodrum for running his own family hotel, where he spent six years as Head of Operations and Vice President.

Under his management, Sianji Wellbeing Resort has been awarded 21 times by five different authorities. One of the milestones in his career was granting Sianji Europe's Leading Wellness Resort twice in a row. Because of his success, he became an influential young leader in the hospitality industry from Turkey and raised an attention to wellness tourism in Turkey.

His hobbies are drone Photography, Motorcycles, Scuba Diving, Traveling and Gastronomy. Oytun Cakir has started a new project as a hobby called Harley Baba, a YouTube channel.
