Aries (March 20 – April 19)

Think carefully about what you’re doing, and whether any of those activities are a waste of your time, energy or intellect. You may be carrying on with these out of habit or because they matter to somebody else. Whatever the case, discuss the situation, then disentangle yourself from it.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

The New Moon in your sign is in a little more than a week. Because that’s about a fresh perspective, there’s little point in struggling with perfecting future plans now. Instead make firm arrangements, but ones you can easily rethink as both your perspective and circumstances shift.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

While it’s possible that one particular individual was actually trying to deceive you, it’s just as likely they got their facts wrong. You’ve done it often enough. Despite that, it’s an indication they need to alter their attitude and actions. Still, should anything suspicious arise, carefully check the facts.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Now that you are viewing longstanding difficulties with a clearer perspective, you’re finally beginning to differentiate between those elements that really matter to you and those that don’t. Better yet, your timing is perfect. With the circumstances in question in the middle of transition, you’d need to rethink things anyway.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

There’s a fine line between being discreet, that is, thinking carefully about what you say, and being dishonest. Most of this has to do with the difference between merely being tactful and having the intention to deceive others. If it’s the latter, think carefully. This strategy will inevitably lead to problems.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Making a promise is one thing. Generally, before you commit to anything, you check out whether a commitment is realistic. Now, however, the actual circumstances you’re dealing with are likely to change, enough you may need to rethink your commitments. Explain. Others make such changes frequently, and will understand.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

During the lengthy and often demanding period while the majority of the planets have been in hasty, temperamental fire signs, you’ve learnt a lot about life. Or at least about how it looks from their perspective. Still, you’ll be relieved the emphasis has shifted to calmer air and earth signs.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

There are many ways to refuse an offer or, where you must, say “no”. However, because you’re short of facts and, even more, your priorities are in transition, you’re better off keeping your options open. Add frequent changes in circumstances and what seems ideal now may not be within a few days.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Although you can be passionate about individuals and activities you care about, you’re also superb at recognising when arrangements have come to an end. Or, at least, that’s usually the case. Now you’re clinging furiously to something, mostly out of sentimentality. Letting go would be far less painful than this.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Having been born under the most practical of the signs, you’re usually the first to spot what will work and, equally, those situations that will be a source of ongoing problems. Now your adventurous side has taken over, and you’re tempted to pursue exactly such an arrangement. Think it over carefully.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 17)

Planning ahead is always wise. At the moment, however, you’re urged to include in those plans the fact that the ideas planet Mercury will generate would be retrograde, or in reverse movement, from May 19 until mid-June. While life won’t come to a halt, unexpected twists and turns could slow things down.

Pisces (February 18 – March 19)

Despite your best efforts to say a firm “no” to one particularly persuasive individual, they’re still convinced you’ll do what they expect. Don’t argue. Simply tell them one more time that other commitments will prevent you from joining them. Then make it clear there’s nothing more to discuss.
