Zooey Deschanel new girl in Manhattan Beach
The Driftless Area star purchased the home for $4.569 million
Zooey Deschanel, who has starred on the television series New Girl for the last four years, now gets to be one in Manhattan Beach.
The actress purchased a home for $4.569 million in the airport-close coastal community, which is popular with sports stars and celebrities.
Built last year, the Cape Cod-inspired two-storey house of 5,166 square feet opens to a flagstone patio with heaters.
Listing details say there's also room for a sports court and a swimming pool on the 8,808-square-foot grounds.
A family room with a limestone fireplace, a bar, six bedrooms and seven bathrooms are among the living areas.
Deschanel, 35, will star in this year's upcoming films The Driftless Area and Rock the Kasbah.
The property had previously changed hands in 2013 for $1.611 million.
