"If you set your heart to it, you can grow any flowering annual in Dubai, including tulips irrespective of the hot climate," claims Deena Motiwalla, an avid gardener who runs the Dubai Gardening Group to share her knowledge with other gardening enthusiasts.

According to Deena, the first step towards successful gardening is to plant annuals in spots where they will feel completely at home.
