Jab we met (OST)
Various artistes

In real life, Jab We Met may have turned into When We Split for the film's lead pair Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor, but the movie continues to do well at the box office. Part of the credit must go to music composer Pritam for his diverse and energetic soundtrack.

Tailor-made for Shahid's dancing skills are two rollicking numbers – Labh Jajua and Mika Singh's Mauja Hi Mauja and Sonu Nigam's Nagada Nagada. Both songs are loaded with Punjabi bhangra-style beats in addition to modern Western arrangements. Shreya Ghoshal performs a catchy item song, Yeh Ishq Haye.

To satisfy people with a taste for melodies, Pritam offers up two romantic tracks – Shaan's Aao Milo and Mohit Chouhan's Tum Se Hi. Guest composer Sandesh Shandilya's semi-classical offering Aaoge Jab Tum by Ustad Rashid Khan is also a good listen.

No Smoking (OST)
Various artistes

Vishal Bhardwaj composes some modern and moody melodies set to Gulzar's lyrics for the movie: Jab Bhi Cigarette (Adnan Sami and Sunidhi Chouhan), Phoonk De (Rekha Bhardwaj and Sukhwinder Singh), Ash Tray (Dev Sen) and Kash Laga (Singh, Vishal Bhardwaj and Daler Mehendi). The album muses on cigarettes, smoke and the vagaries of life.

Fear (OST)
Various artistes
This soundtrack loses its footing from the start with Himesh Reshammiya's typically ranting Tanha Tanha. The misery continues with mediocre songs (many aping Nadeem-Shravan's style) such as Dil Dhadkta Hai (Kunal Ganjawalla-Gayatri Iyer) and Dil Ki Daro Deewar Pe (Udit Narayan-Alka Yagnik). Mystic Karma's title song (sung by Sunidhi) also fails to impress.

Don Of Bhangra
Various artistes

This is an entertaining bhangra-pop album with plenty of foot-tapping dance tracks, composed by Kaptaan Laadi. It blends traditional Punjabi folk music with trendy Western beats. Apache Indian's Main Tenu Nachdi Vekhna is the main attraction and it appears in three versions. Nach Na, Dacaity and Naina Cho Sharaab are other enjoyable tracks.
