Pritam was the composer for Shahid Kapur's previous release Jab We Met and its music was entertaining. The pattern continues with Kismat Konnection as he creates an equally enticing soundtrack.

With his distinctive instrumental arrangements, backup vocals and sound mixing, Pritam creates a fusion of Indian and Western music.The album opens with Neeraj Shreedhar's entertaining club song Aye Papi, which also doubles up as the title track.

Later, an equally foot tapping song comes along with Shaan, Soheil, Akriti Kakkar and Hard Kaur singing Move Your Body Now. After proving his music is dancefloor-worthy, Pritam shows his mellow side with Bakhuda Tum Hi Ho (Atif Aslam and Alka Yagnik) and Is This Love (Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal) – two romantic duets where contrasting male and female voices are used to great effect.

Guest composers Sajid-Wajid chip in with Soniye (Sonu Nigam, Sundhi Chauhan) – a catchy celebratory song with bhangra beats.
