Zaha Hadid jewellery
The late Iraqi-British architect was known as much for her curvilinear buildings as she was for her oversized yet elegant jewellery pieces. Now you’ve got a chance to get your hands on what may have been her final collection in a collaboration she did with Danish design house Georg Jensen. The eight-piece Lamellae Collection debuted on Moda Operandi on Tuesday, and features five rings and three cuff bangles in gold, silver and black diamond. The tactile, ribbon-like pieces reference one of her projects, Wangjing Soho, near Beijing. Pieces are $650-30,000 (Dh2,386-110,161).

Mango Maternity
The Spanish brand on Tuesday announced the global launch of its first collection for mums-to-be — and it’s available the UAE, too. The nine-piece range is mostly in cotton and includes maternity (read elasticated) renditions of Mango’s four best-selling jeans styles. There are also t-shirts, a dress and a sweatshirt, and they say they plan to add more to the range in coming seasons.

Prada, Carolina Herrera new releases
There are some fresh new fragrances coming on the market. Already in stores in the UAE is Prada’s Mimosa, a new addition to its Les Infusions des Prada range (alongside Iris, Cedre, Fleur d’Oranger, Amande, Oeillet and Vetiver). The scent aims to recreate a late summer’s day in the south of France, with notes of mimosa, anise, rose, and mandarin. It’s Dh550 for 100ml of eau de parfum. Meanwhile from New York, Carolina Herrera this month launched Good Girl. The bottle is shaped like a super-high stiletto with a gold heel, and the campaign is shot by Mario Testino with Karlie Kloss. What does it smell like? You’ll have to wait until September to find out — when it launches in the UAE.
