New York-based Indian designer Payal Singhal will exhibit her autumn/winter collection at the Designer's Lounge, Dubai on April 8 and 9.

The opulent and bold collection with rock-star bling comprises flowing dresses, wide-legged pants and chic tops in lush fabrics and full shapes embellished with gold sequins for a mystical and magical feel.

The Mumbai-born designer won the Shopper's Stop Designer of the Year Award when she was 15 and went on to study fashion designing in Mumbai and at Parson's School of Design in New York.

She now runs an atelier in New York and a workshop in Mumbai while continuing her education at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology.

The Payal Singhal label is sold at boutiques in Hong Kong, Vancouver, Chicago and New York and her own flagship stores in Mumbai, Mauritius and New York.
