Fashion-savvy shoppers will soon be able to get the work of ultra-hip designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon for a high-street price tag: The duo — the creative team at Kenzo — are the latest to sign up for a collaboration with Swedish retail giant H&M.

They will be designing a Kenzo range for women and men, due in stores worldwide from November 3.

“We can’t wait to share with everyone the world of Kenzo x H&M, with all of its creativity, fun and love of fashion,” Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M creative advisor, said in a statement on Wednesday.

Lim and Leon are the darlings of the fashion world thanks to Opening Ceremony, their New York-based retail store that stocks cutting-edge designs as well as their own collection. They joined Kenzo, which had been founded in Paris by Kenzo Takada, in 2011, bringing new energy to the brand known for its vibrant prints with items such as a tiger-print sweatshirt, a variation on which is expected to be in the H&M range.

So yes, like many of the previous H&M designer collabs — Versace, Lanvin, Karl Lagerfeld — this is exciting stuff for those with big fashion dreams but small wallets.

“With this collaboration with H&M we want to think big, push the boundaries and bring the new energy of Kenzo to everyone around the world,” the pair said in a joint statement.
