I am a First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) card holder. I lost my job in September 2017 and thereafter claimed credit shield, by submitting all the required documents at their collections department in Deira, Dubai. They advised me to pay the minimum amount and told me the issue would be resolved within 45 working days. I visited them frequently, to check the status of my application, but they replied that it is being processed by the insurance company. It has been six months since I have been paying the minimum amount, while remaining unemployed. I seek Gulf News’ help to get the insurance faster.

From Mr Naseef Abdullah

Dubai

The management of FAB responds:

FAB supports the growth ambitions of its stakeholders and goes beyond financial products and services, and as such, we are grateful for all customer feedback as we strive to consistently deliver the highest standards of service. The bank has been in contact with the customer and the matter has been resolved.

Mr Abdullah responds:

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Gulf News. The bank has been in touch with me and said that insurance is approved and would be credited within a week.
