Vigilance needed in the care of animals

Gulf News reader Shihab Jinna took this photograph while driving along the Al Ain — Abu Dhabi highway.

He said: “The picture shows how a camel is being transported in a small truck, without complying with safety norms. I have read about the UAE authorities maintaining excellent quality standards. I would like to bring this issue to the notice of the authorities, in order to enhance vigilance towards the care of animals in the country while transporting them.”
